Privacy policy
1. Data controller and purposes
Under personal data protection law, particularly Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation —“GDPR”—, personal data supplied by email, web forms or any other means available on this website will be incorporated into the processing systems of the controller TITANIUM Industrial Security, S.L. —“TITANIUM”—.
Data will be processed to answer enquiries, contact the data subject, manage requested products and services, commercial relationships and legitimate business functions, perform administrative management and send future commercial communications that may be of interest.
Personal data will be retained while the commercial or professional relationship continues and, where applicable, for the years required to comply with legal obligations, or until erasure is requested.
2. Legal basis
The legal bases for processing personal data are:
- Performance of a service contract or pre-contractual measures when processing customer or prospective customer data.
- The data subject’s consent when managing general requests, contacts, applications and other forms.
- The controller’s legitimate interest when carrying out direct marketing and commercial communications.
- Compliance with legal obligations applicable to the controller, such as fraud prevention or disclosures to public authorities.
To fulfil these purposes, data may be disclosed to companies in the INZU Group, to which TITANIUM belongs, to improve the service and always in accordance with data protection law. Data may also be disclosed to tax authorities, banks and competent public authorities.
Personal data will be processed confidentially. TITANIUM is committed to protecting users’ privacy and personal data and applies available means to safeguard them.
3. Collection of personal data
TITANIUM does not require personal data to access the website. Contact forms do require personal information, which users provide freely and voluntarily. TITANIUM does not request more information than is necessary to provide the requested service.
A user who submits content to the site —including data, text, video, audio, photographs, graphics, messages or other material— represents and warrants that it complies with these terms. Users submitting third-party personal data represent that they have consent and permission to publish it.
The user is solely responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of supplied data and releases TITANIUM from liability in this respect. The user guarantees that data is accurate, current and authentic and undertakes to keep it updated.
Submitting information through this website necessarily entails express acceptance of this privacy policy and the general terms.
4. Data subject rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, restriction, objection and portability, withdraw consent or make another request by writing to the controller, TITANIUM, at Paseo Mikeletegi 43, 20009 Donostia / San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa (Spain), or by email at info@rutileics.com.
The request must include a copy of a document proving the applicant’s identity —national ID, passport or equivalent—. Legal representatives must also attach proof of representation.
If you disagree with the response to your request or wish to lodge a complaint, you may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
5. Security measures
TITANIUM will process personal data using the technical and organisational measures required to ensure security and prevent alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art, nature of the data and applicable risks, in accordance with the GDPR and implementing law.
Users are nevertheless informed that IT security measures are not impregnable and unlawful intrusions may occur for which TITANIUM would not be liable.
6. Traffic data
To provide a better service, the IP address of the user’s device may be logged and subsequently processed to analyse pages viewed, visits, visitor activity and frequency of use, among other factors.
Users are informed that their IP address may be logged during connection and browsing without this notice being repeated on every visit.
For these purposes, the website may be measured and analysed using Google Analytics or similar tools, which may use tags and cookies to analyse activity across its pages.
7. Links to social networks and web channels
The site may link to social networks and external sites or channels such as LinkedIn or YouTube. TITANIUM accepts no liability for those destinations. Their terms, privacy policies, cookie policies and other rules are controlled by the responsible entities, not TITANIUM.
8. Validity
TITANIUM may amend this policy at its discretion or to reflect legislative or judicial changes. The new text will be published on this site. Relations with users are governed by the law in force at the time of access, so users should review this policy on each visit.
TITANIUM will pursue breaches of this policy and misuse of website functions or content through any civil and criminal remedies available by law, including financial claims.
9. Jurisdiction
Relations between TITANIUM and the user are governed by applicable law and jurisdiction. Where submission to a specific forum is permitted, both parties waive any other jurisdiction and submit to the Courts of Donostia / San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa, Spain).
